History
Founded by Wayne Burke, who is internationally recognized for both his educational and Security Consultancy skills and resources; he and his partnerships have on offer.

Wayne, Sequrit, SecureIA, IA Council and his team have just recently launched "iBlend" briefly it includes Wayne's lifetime of research and development material for security education. iBlends mechanical components include Live pre-recorded video content, LMS (Learning Management System) that is capable of offering up a detailed study plan designed by Wayne that includes a new age of content, communication and collaboration via detailed lab assignments, blogs, forums, chat rooms, wikis, white papers, articles, tutorials and one of the coolest aspects is HackED TV, a weekly live broadcast show.

Over the past 2 years, Wayne has been heavily involved working with the EC-Council team, primarily due to his recent EC-Council Endorsed Production Series which was Co-Produced with Career Academy Inc. A few words from Wayne: "It has truly been a challenge over the past 12 months, with the huge amounts of work that accompanied the project objectives for EC-Council CBT Video Production of CEH, ECSA/LPT and CHFI courses. The difficulty was selecting which topics to really hone in on, because of the sheer amount of course modules and curriculum we need to cover.

Take the ECSA course as an example we recorded 47 modules and a plentiful amount of intensive hands-on demonstrations, coupled with professional live-recorded presentations for the theory. Bio: Wayne Burke.

Wayne Burke, CSO Sequrit CSi and Founder. Responsible for the technical realm and management, including management of Sequrit consulting teams working in both the security consulting and training areas. He is a captain of a global operating group of penetration testers and security experts. Wayne and his group have delivered assignments and customized training for Law Enforcement, Police, various Military Units, NSA, FBI, EPA and similar government bodies from South America, Africa, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia and numerous Gulf locations to name a few from around the world. His office has become his next 12 hour international flight.

BACKGROUND AND QUALIFICATIONS
Wayne Burke has had considerable hands-on IT Security experience consulting and education, whether it was for Government Agencies, Healthcare Institutions, Financial and international companies. His experience in the public / defense sectors is equally complemented by assignments undertaken for heavyweight world renowned corporations including Google, Yahoo, Xerox, AT&T, KPMG and Texas Instruments to name but a few.

He is imminently qualified in his field in that he holds a string of professional qualifications in Networking to name a few (MCT, MCSE, Cisco, Network+) and IT Security (CIW-SA, Security+, CEH, ECSA, LPT, CHFI) besides a bachelor’s degree in science.

WAYNE – THE PENTEST PROFESSIONAL
He performs penetration tests for companies and notifies them of vulnerabilities. Many leading companies perform these penetration tests using industry tools and bench marks for both internal and external attacks. The question that arises is : does this protect an organization that has had a penetration test done? Wayne begs to the contrary. He contends that granted all these penetration tests he has witnessed in the last few years add great value to a company, it nevertheless is no guarantee of immunity from elements with criminal or malicious intent.

WAYNE – THE PENTEST TRAINER
Wayne has had significant success in the role of The Penetration Test Trainer / Ethical Hacking an expected fallout from the fact that he is a master at crafting hands-on intensive training lab material for government, military and corporate sectors. Wayne has been teaching the CEH course since 2003 and he has delivered more than 200 successful Ethical Hacking events all over the globe. He has been largely responsible for customized and dedicated government and military security courses.

Wayne is constantly engaged in helping businesses optimize their systems security vision. He is acknowledged as an expert consultant and trainer serving large organizations with cutting edge IT security. His wide range of all product experience has helped to develop his overall systems security knowledge. Wayne has a passion for tracing malicious hackers in pursuit of which he has had to grapple with issues, which are inextricably entwined in meeting the everyday challenges of information systems security. Wayne has a natural rapport with all people that he comes into contact with at all levels of society. This has made him an excellent consultant / trainer and given his adept ability at leveraging his knowledge, skill and many years of hands-on IT experience, it has arguably led him to become the preferred choice when translating the envisioned training requirements into highly effective training sessions.

Not one to rest on his laurels, Wayne is constantly seeking new challenges and is currently engaged in aligning next generation security technology with robust, scale-able and secure business solutions in between training assignments.
